Barge2Beach Refund Policy

Athletes confirmed in the race who wish to withdraw, must do so in writing to the event organisers at barge2beach@gmail.com or herveybay100@gmail.com

It is the athletes’ responsibility to ensure the club has received any communication. All requests will be responded to. If you do not receive a response from the race office within 5 working days of request, it should be assumed that it has not been received and you should contact us by phone on 0439 730 960 .

Upon confirmation of this request, athletes may be eligible for a refund of their entry fee as per the following conditions:

Applications received on or before 5:00pm 16 September 2024 are eligible for a full refund less portal fees & $20 admin fee. 

Application received after this time are not entitled to any refund or credit.

Entries may be transferred to another athlete up until 5:00pm 9 November 2024. Any transfer will require the athlete to use the Race Roster system for transfers which will refund the cancelling competitor their entry fee  and allow the new entrant to enter the race at the full price plus a $10 transfer fee. 

This is a volunteer run event. HBTC reserves the right to not issue refunds until after the event due to time constraints. Confirmation email will be sent once approved.
