Barge2Beach Refund Policy

Athletes confirmed in the race who wish to withdraw, must do so in writing to the event organisers at barge2beach@gmail.com

It is the athletes’ responsibility to ensure the club has received any communication. All requests will be responded to. If you do not receive a response from the race office within 5 working days of request, it should be assumed that it has not been received and you should contact us by phone on 0439 730 960 .

Upon confirmation of this request, athletes may be eligible for a partial refund of their entry fee as per the following conditions:

Applications received on or before 5:00pm 12 October 2018 are eligible for a full refund. Applications received on or before 5:00pm 2 November 2018 are eligible for a 50% refund of entry fee paid.

Application received after 5:00pm 2 November 2018 are not entitled to any refund or credit.

Entries may be transferred up until 5:00pm 9 November 2018. Any transfer will require the athlete to use the Active Registration Sytem for transfers which will refund the cancelling competitor their entry fee less $10 and allow the new entrant to enter the race at the full price.

This is a volunteer run event. HBTC reserves the right to not issue refunds until after the event due to time constraints. Confirmation email will be sent once approved.
